I just got my tbone fixed after PDX ran over it, broke by nice wood case into splinters, and crunched the bell (and of course won't pay a dime for the damage).

It still has a crease from the silver rim on the bell's edge. The repairman said those Olds horns with the silver band around the bell, when they get bell damage like that, it's impossible to completely smooth it out. It will always have a crease because of the silver band.

That can't be true. Does anyone out there have better news for me? Or am I stuck with the crease?

Call Kanstul horns in Anaheim. These guys are magicians with repairs. If it can be done, they can do it.

The phone number is 1-888-kanstul.

Thanks, but I'm not anywhere near Anaheim anymore. Maybe next time I come down for a Winds event, I'll pay them a visit, see if they know of any remedies.
